Fabric Of Youngstown Program
The Youngstown Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity honors special members of our community, churches, entrepreneurs, civic organizations and social clubs that have made a lasting impact on the Youngstown community. Each award recipient has in its own way contributed to the ‘Fabric of Youngstown.’
These Awardees contributed to the growth, strength and endurance of the Greater Youngstown Community and are a vital part of our city’s history, past and present. From their inception through today, each has dedicated itself to providing service to our citizens that enhance our lives. Whether tasked with developing leadership skills among our citizens, provision of educational programs about health-care, financial literacy and consumer consciousness, providing financial support to other organizations, engagement in voter registration, providing scholarships, employment readiness, preserving history or providing a social outlet, each has made its mark.
